Pioneer Premier subs and hk2000d amp- Good deal?

Not everybody can afford DD subs and Cadillacs like you. At first I thought this was your buddy's thread with the same premiers. I thought he had a MA audio amp on them too.
i don't have a Caddy or DD Stuff //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

just want to make sure he is happy with his subs.

don't know the op. my friend Big Juice is running 4 of them of a HK4000 in his Expo.

4 of em thats crazy. Box I have is pretty good, but I'll get a new one if needed. Also I wanted to ask you guys is 4 gauge wire good enough for the amp or I definately need 0 gauge?

4 gauge is a bit small for the amount of power you'll be running. I would go with at least 2 gauge.

if I use 4 gauge will it like fry the wires or something or it just wont get enough power from the battery? cuz I'm kinda running low on the cash right now so I might get it later.

I basically said, those subs don't perform well with anything, above 1,000 RMS!
What do you mean they dont sound good or they dont hit hard? Because honestly I'm not going for hard hitting bass. I checked out these subs at a demo at a local audio shop and I like the sound they produce. My friend has them too. Its kinda smooth bass but you can feel it 20 ft away from your car too. I love that.

I wouldn't recommed much more power over 1000rms to each speaker, so that amp you have should be a perfect match.

Also your setup won't sound bad if you go over the RMS, it is just they don't like much more power to them and might have a higher chance at something happening to the subs, like blowing them or something else.

Guy just can't explain shit right the first time.

You know its funny I went to a local audio shop Planet Audio two days ago just to check on prices. They were selling same pioneer sub for 240$ each. I asked the guy if they carried any Hifonics amps, he said no. So I asked him for the cheapest amp I could get that would put around 2000 rms. He's like anything over 1000 rms you are going to be spending atleast 1500$. I guess only amp he knows about is the jl audio 1000 because thats what he was comparing the prices to. Anyway, god bless the internet thats all I gota say lol.
