hey everyone so i have some subs that i got for free from a friend, im happy with the subs, im not sure on the brand, but he made the box for them. they bump really hard and im happy with them. i also have a 620 watt one channel amp. I am looking to get some new stuff like speakers, and tweeters and a new deck for my car, and maybe a new amp too if i need too. i have no idea what to get, i want something that bumps hard, but isnt too overpowered by bass. i have a 500$ limit, so hit me up with what you would get if it were you. at this point im open to all suggestions. So you are looking for new speakers and a deck? What year make and model of vehicle?

500 will get you a good two channel, good comps, and a nice headunit. Getting a nice set of comps and amping them is the best option...

ive decided to upgrade my subs first, because i found out the ones i have are duals, and i want something with a better sound. right now im leaning towards 2 mojo 12s. what amp/s would i need to power these? is this overkill for my car? thanks.

You should focus on your front stage. Then go back and upgrade your sub/amp. Just my two cents.

u no duals are one of the best subs u can buy

just focus on a frontstage, then u will have a killer system.

u dont need rear speakers either, either dump ur stocks or keep them in.

and if u really wanna replace them, get some cheapo pioneers and run them off of the headunit, no need to power with a amp, u wont hear them.

what are u looking for just dumb loud or some nice quality sound?

im looking for it to be loud, but not overpowering. i want it to be clean and poppy, but still have some nice strong loud base if that makes sense

well i would go with 2 15 inch fi ssd's or q's...look for deals in the classifieds. if u dont have room, go with the 12s or just one 15.

i would go with a nice 1500 2000 wrms amp...something like sundown, kicker, or hifonics or something else along those lines. also look in the classifieds.

Ull need a nice custom ported box....contact box buliders on here for info...some are actually making them for free right now....loook in classifieds.

get at least nice 0/1gauge wire, kicker or knu. Get enough for power and ground, also the big 3...look in the elecrical section for the thread and intructions.

ull also need a nice batt up front, deka. kintek. optima. Biggest u can fit.

sub-200 to 350, depend on how many u buy.

amp 200 to300, depend on what kind u buy.

box-40-80 (if done for free/u build, thats with parts) 150 to 200 if u have some1 build it.

wiring- u can find decent kits on ebay for 50-60.

batt- 150-200. depends on what u need.

thats 600. at the cheapest and up to 950 at the most.

now this doesnt include installation. That could be around 200-300.

now there is alot cheaper u can go but this will last u a long time. Remeber, the more the product, most of the time the better the product, which means it will last a long time.

now u coould go with some kicker cvrs....150
