pioneer premier DEH-P690UB

I am looking for a head unit I can straight plug in a usb hard drive with 60+gigs of music and be able to be reasonably browse it.

my budget is no more then 300, might buy a used one off ebay or something. Like the pioneer premier ones because they have all the nice bass controls, like turning the sub off and all that. (I am a newb)

Also will be powering my mids and tweeters for the time being (getting subs, then worrying about mids)

amazon beats them, but I am trying to have them price match amazon. But what I am asking is if there are better ones out there, better quality, I don't know, just looking for opionions, personal experience etc.

You're not going to get much better for USB than the 690 plus the fact that it is also a CD player. I would go with that.

the deh-6900ub is the same thing sans 2 year warranty.

I just had sound domain price match it for $201 shipped.

- Go to sounddomain.com

- Look up the pioneer 6900ub

- Click on the 105% pricematch box

- When it asks for the competitors URL, put http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6305_Pioneer+DEH-P6800MP.html

- They will email you a a coupon code.

PS - the sonic electronic price went up to $199 from $189 last week so the price match will be more like $195.

The reason I use sounddomain.com is because they are authorized and Pioneer will honor the 1 year warranty.
