need help with Eclipse CD7100

when I paly music via the USB input I can not see the full MP3 file name.

I am see only the first 8 letters.

for example - AAAAAA~1.mp3

some have this unit? someone have the problem or it is only on my unit?

not sure but just look in the manual in the usb section or whatever works. im sure it would mention that it will only display x amount of characters. i own a cd5000 but i dont have a usb feature so i cant help however i seriously doubt that there is anything wrong with your cd player, probably just how it works.
