I have the 7800 in my car, whats the difference? I can't see any going by the pioneer site.

Not really a "huge" upgrade to the 880 IMO!!! Yeah the 880 is nice but you don't get too much out of it over the 780/7800!!! I've owned all 3 (currently using the 880). And yes, the color in the 780/7800 is a NICE feature!

The only difference is the 780 is the Premier unit...which comes with a 2 year factory (Pioneer) warranty whereas the 7800 comes with just a 1 year factory warranty!

you can go active on the 880 with that "network" switch. I didn't see it on the 7800 or maybe I didn't look at the side of the 7800. Not sure though.

you cant go activer with the 780, thats why the released the 880 to give active capabilities. so what you gained in performance on the 880, you lost the kick *** color screen. also to me the 780 has more features like the rpm gauge, and a few extras. also this is coming from someone that has had the 880, but went with the 780 since i was never going to use the active features.
