The Camry
Hey, I Try.
Oh boy another one of these threads. Turn off pop as well as popping when going from 0-1 volume started a month ago when i was playing with gains and oscope. Might of accidentally hot swapped an rca. i doubt it but who knows. Pioneers are so touchy.
So heres the set up.
80prs-cdsp-3 diff amps.
unplugged the rca input to the c-dsp. Turn off pop gone.
ran my phone aux-rca adapter to c-dsp. Turn off pop gone.
So its definitely the head unit.
i ran a direct ground from headunit to battery. turn off pop still there. This is where i ran into a weird thing. If i disconnect the ground from the headunit as in the black ground is attached to nothing and the car isnt on. the c-dsp turns on and all my amps turn on, can anyone explain why that might happen.
The remote out from headunit is going to c-dsp. The 12v hot and negative are attached to the nearest amp's + and - terminals.
i have a feeling this weird thing is the cause of whatever pop im getting. it could be a separate issue as well.
im about to solder the rca grounds to the chassis though i dont think that bad rca grounds(pico fuse) is the problema because a DMM reads less than 0.3ohm resistance between rca grounds and any other ground. and there is no alternator noise.
Im not sure what else to try at this point.
Welp! H
