I've got the head unit installed, plus 2 front, and 2 rear speakers running off the deck.

I just hooked up an amp and sub running off the sub RCA output from the deck.

For some reason I can't get the sub isolated from playing full range, or the other speakers from playing low frequencies.

When I adjust the high pass filter, I can hear the low frequencies being cut out from all speakers including the sub.

Then, when I go into the "initial setting" and change the sub from "ful" to "s/w" I then loose my front speakers. The amp is also set to low pass, which is supposed to cut all frequencies above 120Hz.

I'm trying to figure this part out still. Not sure, but if I plug the sub RCA's into the rear output on the deck, wouldn't it treat the sub as the rear speakers which would be all full range or all low range on all 3 speakers.

I guess that's already what's going on with it plugged into the sub output.

I'm confused, and I hope I didn't confuse you, just trying to get sub to play bass, and other speakers not to.
