my pioneer p80mp is set at 40w but i want to set it at 60w...i know theres a switch..but it doesnt work by switching to 60w...what do i do to make the hu to 60w..i have no idea to do this because i got my hu installed by someone else

What do you mean, it doesn't work at 60w?

If you switch it to the higher output power, you need to make sure both the constant and accessory power wires are capable of delivering 10 amps of current. In a lot of cars, this might mean running new wire to the ignition harness. You'd probably want to upgrade from the factory ground wire, too.
