Pioneer or Eclipse

I currently have 2 decks in my possession a pioneer deh-p4700mp and a eclipse cd2000. I havend had a chance to try out the eclipse deck yet so I wanted to know what deck you guys think I should keep.

I don't now too much about the cd2000. I use to have a 6700mp it was average,decsent audio features. I would look at both the specs and let that help you make your choice, Like the pre-outs. I think the pioneer is only 2.2 volts. The eclipse may be more not to sure. Most ppl on here may go for the cd2000 but once again I could be wrong. Good luck on choosing.

since you have both why don't you just try them each out for a few weeks??

see which one you like better, not which ones other members like better

Well the thing is that I currently dont have a car to test the eclipse in, my last car broke down on me and i wanted to know what head unt to use for my next car.

do you need to get rid of one soon?

if not, just wait til you get a new car, if you do, go to circuit ciity and see if they have both models.

maybe if you have a friend with an aftermarket already installed? take his out, try out yours.

which one has the features you need most? preout voltage is overrated. 2.2 volts will be fine

I have both right now. They aren't any better than any average decks out there.

I decided to just keep both decks ill be putting the pioneer in my van to replace the old deck I installd already, the eclipse will be going into the next car im gonna get.

Ive never had an eclipse deck but Im a big fan of pioneer head units. Their adjustments actually work.
