Pioneer Ipod adapter (II) skipping problems

Just got my system installed, but my Pioneer Ipod adapter (new version) isnt working correctly

I have a prs880 HU and when I go to ipod the song will start and in 5 or so sec it will stop for like 2-3 min or more. Ill try to go to a different artist and select the song but it wont start to play for 5 minutes then pauses again. It seems like it buffering or something. I have a 3rd gen ipod with the latest firmware. Does anyone have any advice?

go to the ipod website and update ur ipod i had the same problem with mines after the update everything works fine. i have the ipod 2g nano im bout to get the 30g
