i sold my cvr to a friend and built like a 2.5 cf sealed box for him and it sounds like ***. I tried with and without polyfill and it was the same. Also it has pretty much no response below 45 hz. You can barley hear any bass on late nite tip. This is run off of the stock hu using a loc. His wires wernt labeled so i had to guess which was pos and neg when installing the loc so that might be the problem. Can you help me. do you think it would help to try and port it with some pvc's

need more power.............. and yeah that stock head unit/loc combo probably has alot to do with it. it won't hurt anything just to switch your speaker leads and give it a listen

friends got a cvr 15 sealed also, w/ a kx450.2 and sounds great. so i'm pretty sure it's not the lack of power thats causing it..

I have 2 CVR 15's in my room each in 2.2 cubes sealed running off of a 200 watt house amp and they hit the low notes on late night tip just fine:)

ok im thinking its the loc to. But also it seems to be overexcurting like mad cause hes getting like 1.5 inches from it where as when i had it ported in 4 cubes tuned to 35 i got 1 inch at most playing all out on late nite tip
