pioneer ip bus help?

its just a ipbus to rca, then i have a rca to ipod cable but i can't figure out how to get it to work. i can't find auxiliary on the head unit and i tried going to function to turn it on but i can't find anything. hellpp i need my music

you have to turn power off on unit...then hold in function button...a hidden menue will come up...scroll through and turn on the Aux //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

they just say to click on function till it shows up, with the unit on it doesn't they don't say to hold it down while off.

u could of just bought a mini plug male to male wire and it would of worked the same for 4 bucks from radio shack

and what about getting the ip ipod adapter so you can control it form the unit and charge it a the same time
