Pioneer IMPP Distorting?

Alright. I have a 300w Majestic amp. Model number ma650 so im not sure if its 650w max or 300w max. And when i turn it up above 24 i can hear the subs start making a bow-a-wow sound like they are distorting. And im not sure if its the subs or the amp. Cause when this is happening the subs are moving around quite a bit. Im on my phone and this is the max message length...

Right now the subs are in the box and they were when i bought them. But all at says on the cone is pioneer impp. But even the entry on that series is 800w max or something like that. Ask any questions about the setup and i will be glad to answer them the best that i can.

what is your gain/level set at

I have my "bass boost" on right now and i think thats +12db and my gain is just a knob and that is around 1/3 of the way up.
