hey i am having difficltys with my pioneer deh-P3800 i cant get the setting to make my subs play bass instead of hearing it through my speakers cause they sound like sh!t and i want to no what your settings are and all of the catagories of the audio settings, thanks i need help

look for a setting called high pass filter, it might just say HPF, or it might even have FHPF and RHPF (front and rear, respectively). find that, turn it on, set it to 80Hz

that should fix your problem. not sure where abouts it is on your model, but it should be in the audio menu.

ok just tried the hpf thing worked but they still play bass thorugh my front and rear speakers but barely the front speakers i dont want to play bass cause i think they are blown considering it makes a buzzing sound so i just want bass form my subs and treble from my speaker what would i do

set the hpf even higher 100-125 if it makes you feel better. does your speaker amp also have hpf on it?

i dont think so it is the stock amp that comes with a 1998 Jeep Grand cherokee

yes it does i have the infinity speaker sytem it comes with a small black amp underneath the passenger driver rear seat

Just set the HPF higher to 100/125 or so.

some of the dodge/chrysler Infinity systems had an amp at each speaker. it was not difficult to bypass either. you must bypass those amps or your speakers will sound like poo.

well the hpf turned down my sub too what else could i do?
