ok last month i picked up a pioneer gm 7100m amp for my expo. today i decided to see what sounds i would be getting etc. i have been doing install off and on nothing professional or extra ordinary flashy stuff. but anyways i remove it from the box nice looking and besides pioneer was one of the first amps i started with and i decided to return to my roots. as im reading the instructions i notice that i have to have a special battery cord (rd-223) in order to complete the install, prob #1. Ok then i do a searh as well as try to contact pioneer to order the part no luck in locating the part yet ordering it prob #2. now a friend advised me that circuit city has the part tsunami amp350agu it looks no different than my installation kit from my current amp prob #3. can anyone tell me if i have the foriegn model, or is there really a difference with the tsunami install kit.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif or did i make a bad decision.

Alright that i have in place right now but im barely getting any sound. i was thinking that maybe because I swap out my 60 amp fuse to a 40 amp that was the reason but not because i ran it straight and got the same results.

i have a jl 12w3d4 and im more than positive that the amp put out enough juice.

im going back later to trouble shoot it again. i know my stuff and dont see any screw up on the hook up.

there is one thing i forgot to add since my expo was broken into 3 months ago put the stock headunit back in. i have been running my sony 4 channel amp on my upgraded door spkrs no problem there plenty of sound / clarity. but even when i use the pioneer on them again very lil sound. i am starting to get upset. tomorrow ithink i will return it to best buys for another unit if possible. hopefully some one has a possible answer.

can someone tell me if this maybe my problem: iam running the pioneer gm7100m to a jl 12w3d4 i think //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif the problem is that the 7100 rates to a 1 / 4 ohm load and the jl can only be wired for 2 / 8 ohm.
