OK heres the problem. I had one amp and installed another to power two more 10's in addition to two 12's. The 2nd amp i installed is working fine, but the original amp now switches back and forth from normal to protection mode every 2 seconds. My new amps rca cables are plugged into my stereos sub out, and my original amp rca is plugged into my stereos front preout. I have a 4guage power wire with a 32V fuse running into a distribution block that has 2 5guage cables running to my amps. I rechecked the ground, power, remote cables and fuse block and they are all fine. In doing so I found out the problem. When my original amps rca are unplugged, the amp runs fine (doesnt go into protection.) But when i plug the rca into the amp, then it switches back and forth from normal to protection. All the while my new amp is running just fine. Ive even tried running the rca from my new amps output rca to my original amp instead of from the stereo, but that doesnt help either. Whats the deal????? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif  //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif

Everything is seperately wired except the power supply is coming off a distributor block. One amp is a Planet Audio vx2002 powering two jbl 10's (worked fine when they were the only thing in my car). The other amp is a Kenwood KAC-7202 powering 2 planet audio 12's (worked fine when they replaced other amp and subs and were the only thing in my car.) put them both together in my car, and the planet audio amp doesnt work. Even when i completely unplug the kenwood amp rca's the PA amp wont work. (it runs fine but once i plug rca's into it it runs in protetion). Thanks for all your help.

Ok guys ive had a major breakthrough! I switched my amps and subs around and now the kenwood doesnt work when i plug my 10's into it. So now why wont any of my amps power my 10's only my 12's? When i had just my 10's it worked fine.

get a DMM and check the ohm load at the amps. (amps off, measure the resistance at the speaker terminals).

Sounds like the load is too low for the amp to handle.
