pioneer gm-x962 amp problems!!!!!...

I went to hook up my older amp today and when i did i noticed there was little to no sound pushing the speaker. on further inspection i saw that the amp is pulling the subwoofer inward! everything is hooked up correct no different then my other amp what would cause this? Any help advice would be great. The sub is single voice coil 4ohm. The amp is 2 channel running it bridged. Tried hooking it up to one channel but still nothing. its hooked positive + and negative to -.
