pioneer EQ stops at 12.5khz

pioneer reps on pioneer dealer forum refuse to give me an answer so i figure i ask here.

why does pioneer(along with many other bad decisions lately) stubbornly refuse to expand the EQ of their decks.

jvc kenwood alpine, eclipse they all responded to customer demands of more audio tuning features but pioneer is the only one left that tries to be "oldschool-outdated" and stick to their good ol eq.

they even tried the fake 20hz- 20khz eq that jumps from 12.5 to 20 khz lol

what a fn gap for an eq to have empty. good marketing trick pioneer!!!!!

so can anyone explain why?

i know deck amp cuts out at 16khz on most of the decks

but the preampp goes all the way to 20khz

and i do like the crisp sound i get when i bring upp the 15,16,17.5 khz frequency up.

which i cant do with pioneer...

ye thats over 2000 dollars and its in australia.

i wasnt talking about the super high end uber expensive stereo

something that i can buy in a store

the DEH models.

most of kenwood lineup comes with a nice eq and other settings like separate front and rear high pass filter with alot wider range than pioneer

Get an 880 or an 800 from pioneer.

they dont have USB plug lol

i wish it was that simple

what im looking for is a radio that has the sound settings of 880prs + the usb that supports wav playback.

and i have not seen it yet

alpine is doing same sht

they release the 9887 without USB and then to put some more salt in the wound they release the 9886 with the USB but no sound settings.

and the imprint addon still doesnt give you full crossover options...
