I have a Pioneer DEQ-9200 and don’t get output from the rear-left RCA cable. It worked great but one day a couple of speaker wires (or something) touched and the output quit working on the DEQ. It also blew the RCA on my MTX amp that was directly connected to the rear-left output of the DEQ.

MTX said I ruined the amp’s pickup on that channel, which leads me to believe this is also the problem with the DEQ, as they were connected with an RCA.

The DEQ works fine except for that one channel. How much would it be to fix and who could do it? I live in Chicago by Wrigley Field so please let me know. I’m open to shipping as well.

You can post to the board, but it’d be easier to email me directly.

I would suggest trying to ground the RCA itself, Pioneers are notorious for there grounds easily wrecking, So Grab a short wire, bare the wire fairly long, wrap around the rca's outter sleeve(shiny part) and then try grounding this part to a reliable ground, and if the problem persists, its a Bigger problem. I have found this problem to be most common!

Also your in the wrong part of the Forum!! Just a heads up!

He doesn't have feedback, he states it doesn't work at all. That grounding fix will not work.

Also that is not a notorious problems on the eq's.

This is the wrong forum for this, I would post in the general forum.

Good luck, I would just replace the unit.
