Pioneer DEQ-7600 - is it still a good EQ/sound processor?????

I'm looking for a good sound processor/eq, anyone know if this is still a decent eq? I found it at http://sonicelectronix.com/item_771.html for $209 and it seems like a pretty solid deal and a great product. Any suggestions for a HU to go with it? Anyone find it any cheaper?

I am just starting to get into SQ competition and will eventually be running 1 12' IDQ sub with a Mono amp and a set of components in the front with a 2 or 4ch depending on the fill I go with for the rear.

Bump...anyone? Any other EQ recommendations? I'm looking for something that could be kept close to the front for easy adjustment etc...
