I had it and I liked it for the its price to feature ratio. Mine had the ground trace problem but I got it fixed by Pioneer for free. I wasn't a big fan of the oel display and I thought it was too hard to read in the sunlight, but other than that it is a decent deck.

I liked mine but the biggest thing that got me to get rid of it was I couldnt see it in the sunlight as well during the night it was great.

I own one of the 04 models and haven't had a single problem with it. It is one of the best decks I've owned both in Sound Quality and durability. You should try the panasonic 9700 or 9800 I believe I had I sold it for the 860mp and wish I never did that panasonic was a very nice deck just hated the blue but sq was amazing and great to see during the day. And simple to use and never had a problem with any pana decks I have used.
