Pioneer Avic Z1 vs Eclipse AVN 5495 Which one

Im in the process of puting my new system together and im stuck on which way to go on a head unit. Ive pretty much narrowed it down between the pioneer avic Z1 and the eclipse avn5495. Possibly the eclipse avn 6600. Ive read lots of reviews on both and really all im trying to do is use my ipod, watch dvds, possibly hook up a gaming system and get a good nav system. I know the pioneer i will have to buy the bypass to watch dvds with which isnt a big deal, and ive heard the ipod useage isnt very good with the pioneer. But ive played around with the eclipse navigation and i really dont care for it at all and the pioneers seems to have strong reviews. Also the eclipse EQ is pretty cool, does anyone know what pioneers is like. I will be powering a kicker ZX450.2 with kicker SS65.2 components and a ZX2500.1 mono amp to my subs(probably a solo x 18) So if your in my shoes which way would you guys/ girls go. Thanks alot for any feedback

Z1 hands down in that price range. I have the 6600 and like it, but if you are looking for the HDD Nav, the Z1 takes the cake IMO. The nav on the thing is great.

I've heard nothing but great things from several people about the z1. I've never used either personally, but I haven't heard much about the eclipse, although I'm sure it's nice too. But from the people I talked to about their z1's, they loved everything about em. I have used an avic n1 and I couldn't complain about anything on it, so I can only imagine what the z1 must be like.

Thanks guys. Ya the only negative ive heard about the Z1 is with the ipod control and it have a 3-4 second lag between switching songs. Does anyone know how the pioneers Eq is??
