Hi everyone, this is my first post here.

Here's what im trying to do. I have the N2 and want to install this in my CTS. I have taken it to many local audio/video shops and they have ALL said it will be a custom job. and that there's no Din Kit for this. I have looked on ebay and i have found this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=9711109436&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

GREAT, well not really. I want it to look like this

The only difference will be keeping the Information Center on the very top (where the time is). I want to retain this as it's a vital part of the vehicle. Does anyone have any ideas on how to have this installed like the one in the picture?

does anyone know if there are any other kits avail for my vehicle?

thank you... great board btw

that's what i thought, the first link (ebay) the kit should fit right under the Info Center. But looking closly at my car, i dont see where it would come off, it all looks like one continous piece to me.

the pic in the 2nd link, looks like it was possibily custom, because i think from the info center all the way to above the AC Unit it all one... i dont knwo... maybe i should take off the HU first and see from there

I haven't worked on a newer Caddy, but if it's like the few GM's that I think it's like, then you're going to lose the information center unless you pick up the aftermarket cluster from Metra, which costs a decent amount.

i just picked up the metra kit, from the above link, for 60$

i dont mind losing the info center, i will just lose all personalization settings.. which i dont mind...

that's odd, our CTS had a dvd/NAV on it instead of that thing. Ours was a V-series, so i dunno if that has anything to do with it, but the CTS v series is niiiice.
cts v comes with the navigation/dvd... that's why im installing an after market one... mine didnt come with it, just cd/radio
