Pioneer Avic D3 screen issues

I just purchased this unit for $150, problem is that the screen is not working according to the seller. Something about a screwed up inverter or the like. Can I fix this myself and where can I find the parts? Been looking everywhere.

My screen went totally snowy white. You may have to ship it to Pioneer.
