I've never used a stock headunit in any install.

But I'd like to use my stock one in my 07 cobalt. What do I need to get to allow me to still be able to hook up my sub amp and speaker amp.

Sorry if it sounds stupid, but if I can make it work I'd like to go this route.

You are gonna need a line out converter. Just don't get f*cken schosche brand or some sh*t like that.

The PAC LOCs are pretty beefy. I used one in my 08 G5 for about a year, you can get a harness for that car for about 50 bucks, only downside is that the acc is 3 amps and i would suggest a relay for the acc, or just say fk it and use the relay to tap the ignition wire.
