Pioneer Avic-D2 acting a fool.

I've got a Pioneer Avic-D2 installed in my 2003 Mercury Marauder, and it's been working great since I got it, but about a week ago, the arrow started acting screwy. It isn't keeping up with me while I'm driving. It will usually snap and catch up at some point, but when I first got it, it was fluid and smooth keeping up with where I was driving. Is this a common problem with these units?

Sounds like either the speed sense wire is no longer working or the antenna might be going bad.

Do you have to jump the car and redo settings or anything?

Sounds like the antenna.On my N1 the **** thing would just wonder all over the map.Have you checked signal strength to see how many sats you are finding?
