Speaker is attched to some mdf ring cutouts. the mdf is drilled to 2 little L brackets, which are drilled into the near by panel.

They sound ah maaaazing.

Yeah I"m on avic411 but I don't have any of the original disks or manuals. So I'm kind of up **** creek until I can get my hands on some.

sweet, you got the arts installed in there, too? also, curious how those hu's are for quality and features.... that would look nice with my little pioneer 1/2din eq..... pretty much the same thing as that ppi one....

Man I bet they do. Pretty sweet setup you got there. Why no iridium midbasses? What you got better? Not familiar with those.

Think you could get a pic of the side/back of the mids? I've been looking to do something similar, but my dash is very shallow and the space between it and the window is quite small

ill try to get some pics of the backsides and the mounts...its rather simple....cheap mdf rings and small L brackets.

i had gotten a good deal on the illusion mids w/ pods and the ppi eq. the midbass sound great , no need to change since they're already doing a great job.

avic n2 manual should be online. original update disks are on ebay for cheap.

make sure you burn the disk with a non-windows program....nero 10 has a free trial that worked great for me.also look intp infranview, a freeware picture editting software to get you resolution eddited easily to where you need it.
