Pioneer Amps and Subs?

i am new to this, and i am curious..... are pioneer amps and subs any good? just looking for a 10" sub and an amp to drive it. already have a box. advice?

what about MTX? i am ordering a 10" sub and 150 watt amp for it? this is my first time doing this so i am going small, i know, but how will that do for now?

The new Pioneer Amps are worlds better than the previous years models.

A friend of mine has been running his new 760 Watt Pioneer to a pair of the new Pioneer 12's @ 2ohms for the past few months, and neither product has even hinted of a problem.

Internally, the board isn't that drastically different than the previous recent models, but for some reason this new line seems to hold up considerably better.

Like most other brands Pioneer has entry-level gear that isn't worth considering (think: the Pioneer gear retailed through Wal-Mart) and then on the other end of the spectrum their top-end Premier-branded offerings are much better.

Like all else it's about how much you care to invest...
