Pioneer amp help

Today my friend gave me his broken Pioneer GM-D7400M amp, he said the amp would go into protect mode every time he started his car.

The amp stopped working after my friend hooked it up to some garbage meijer 10" sub and tried to melt it with power for fun (yes he is an idiot). The amp completely destroyed the meijer sub and then when he went back to hook it up to his directed 12's it would only go into protect mode and produce no sound.

I would really like to fix this amp on my own and use it for my subs when they come in next week, so if anyone could give me an idea of whats wrong and how to fix it that would be great!

The subs got destroyed because the coil melted and created a dead short, and amplifiers don't like that.

To be honest it is less painful to just buy another amp, you can buy a 1000 watt RMS subwoofer amplifier for $150 these days and it's bigger than your Pioneer amp. If you want to tinker with it then remove the bottom cover and inspect all the circuits, there most likely will be parts that looks burnt or melted. Replace those parts and you should be good. It sounds easy but it really isn't, you'll need some good background knowledge in repairing electronics and various equipment and tools just to do anything.

Okay I will probably just buy another amp, but I would still really like to try and fix this one. I took off the back panel of the amp and I am now adding a couple pictures of the circuit board. There are four ovals that have yellow-brown stains around them and look burnt, but what do I know you tell me.
