Ok so I own the above mentioned headunit and I was looking to do a plug and play satelite radio unit for it. I am able to right now through a promotion to get the Stratus 5 unit for 10 dollars.

Well it says it has a built in FM transmitter, and I have heard that there pretty shitty. So is there anyway i can hook this up through an Aux input or through my Ipod Adapter. I have CD-IB100II. So if theres a way id like to jump on this since its so cheap. Please let me know, and sorry if my post was a little scrambled.

Thanks.

if you get the pioneer adapter with 3.5mm audio jack, then you can plug it right in
I'm sorry but im not sure which adapter your speaking of. If you don't mind could you give me a link to the product your talking about?

Thanks.

Sweet thanks a lot. And will this allow me to navigate the radio through my headunit? or no? And do you own the Stratus 5? If so how do you like it? And again thanks a lot.

let me try to clarify this for you. Your ipod controller is ran through teh ip-bus on your radio. there is also another port i would assume on that radio on teh back of it that will let you plug in a 3.5mm jack into this port. What you will do is plug a 3.5mm cord into the port on the radio, then one into the same style port on the satelite radio. Whenever you want to listen to sat radio, u switch to teh aux source on the radio. You will not be able to control anything via the AUX port, buit you will be able to still stream the audio from teh device to your cd player. Hope this helps:cool:
