pioneer 860 and 960

hey im lookin to buy one of the two...all ive seen is pics off the website..i want pics of the OEL display or install pics of someone who has them...because i know there amazing headunits...i just want to see them before i take a bid at themm..thanks

Well, in this case that is about the only difference between the 2 headunits. I personally still use an 860 and never really cared for ANY of Pioneer's dual faceplate units. Not just because of the looks but because of all the problems Pioneer has had with the ribbion cable that connects outer face with the unit. In my opinion I would say stay away from the 960. Inside they are identical units so performance will NOT be compromised. x2 on what everyone said about the dual face. i've actually used both the 860 and 960, and the 960's double face kept getting stuck and i had to send it back in for repair. 860 looks better IMO.
