Pioneer 80prs RCA switch?

Does anyone know what it does? Does it turn off the rca's and use the built in amp in the hu? Or does the "hi" stand for high voltage and "low" for low voltage? Thanks

High is for when ur using thE internal amp..low is for external amps...
