PIONEER 6700DVD Head Unit / Turn on lead

I'm just sitting here trying to figure out why the hell they'd make it this way, remote turn on is only on when ignition is on? I just don't get it, doesn't help with bluetooth in anyway I could tell you

i was considering calling pioneer but they're closed. i know you've probably looked multiple times but was there any reference to this in the manual that came with the headunit?

Agreed. I'd still like to see a pic of the harness. I'd be more concerned with the Pico fuses trying to tap into the internals.

So you have to buy a separate wire to plug into 8 in the schematic to run amps? Dafuq? I'd just return it and get something else.

#8 is a remote used to press play/pause, etc...

The remote being spoken of is the output signal.

So is there a solid blue wire in the harness? That would be the one needed.

Theres 3 remote type that ive read of which is blue/white is the remote turn on, power antenna wire, some other wire.

He can use the power antenna wire, but i dont know if it will turn off the amp in usb/cd/aux/bluetooth mode

Thanks guys! I am VERY disappointed with Pioneer and sent them a long email. I have the technical know-how to open up the head unit, but not the thing I want to do on a brand new unit.

Went to local authorized Pioneer repair center. He made every excuse how he cannot alter the unit lol.
