Pioneer 6000ub vs 6900ub?

Does anyone have any opionions on the 2 models? I really want the 6900 model but is it worth the extra 30 bucks over the 6000ub? I can get the 6000 for 160 or so at best buy and the 6900 is 200 shipped online.

I have the 6000ub, love it. Nice HU reads my Creative Vision M mp3 player fine, but only when its in HD mode. The usb reads very quickly, my 4 and 8g jump drives read perfectly.

Display is nice, im more oldschool so the "multi knob" that pioneer uses took me a sec to get use too.

Isnt the 6000ub a replacement for the 6900? I thought that was Pioneers older model.

I would go with the 6900UB because the 6000UB is the same as last years 5900IB with the exception of USB and direct secrach on Ipod.

had the 5900..it's the same as the 6900 except for the motorized face..

i have a 6000ub now..same shyt as the 5900 but now with a motorized face and usb connection. The 5900 for some reason seemed to be louder than the 6000 was(when comparing the volume level numbers). I preferred the 5900 faceplate design, the silver paint on the 6000's face surrounding the knob wears out pretty quick, at night you can see where i'm always pressing because the backlight is starting to shine through the paint.

The 6000 is only rated at 14watts rms; that's prolly why.

They look almost the same from what I can see. The 6900 has a built in voltmeter which is nice. I have the 6000 & i'm more then happy with it.
