Pioneer 580 (5800)- HPF on RCAs or only speaker-level outs?

I have a Pioneer 580 (06 model) and I want to use it as my x-over. I have the LPF x-over set to the non-fading RCAs, but I have not added my front amp. If I use the built-in HPF, will it ONLY HP the speaker level output, or will the HPF also apply to the Front RCAs? I read the manual and it was very ambiguious as to whether the RCAs are HPed...It clearly states that speakers are HPed, BUT it uses the same language to explain this feature as it uses to explain the LP feature on the sub out- which is ONLY an RCA-level output (obviously).
