pioneer 4600/ipod

I have had my Pioneer 4600 HU since 2004 or so - it works fine, everything is great but I just recently picked up an Ipod Nano and would really love to play my ipod in my car, however I've run into a slight problem...

I obviously have no tape deck, so I can't buy a tape adaptor that would allow me to play my ipod in my car, and apparently there is no Aux Input (I think thats what its called?) on the front of my HU to plug it in using one of the cords I picked up

How would I go about hooking things up in order to play my ipod in my car? The only thing I have been able to find is this: http://www.cardomain.com/item/PIOCDIB100II and I don't think it even works w/ the HU I have - plus I wouldnt even know where to begin to hook that up...haha.

what the model on the radio EXCAZTLY?

on the back of the radio does it have a blue plug?

The model I have is a Pioneer DEH-P4600MP

and I'm not sure about the blue plug, since it's obviously in my car and has been since it got installed back in 04... I suppose I would have to take it out in order to check.

u can do this FOR SURE i know it dosent charge or control from radio BUT it will give u a direct connect which sounds the best //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

will plug behind radio and u just hit Source and thats it..

and u can mout it under ur dash so u cna unplug it every other time

Ah ok, yeah I just opened the box and found the installation manual which has a picture of the back of the HU I have, and it says an arrow pointing to an IP-Bus input (blue) which I assume is what this (the link you gave me) connects too?

u can try using that IPOD adaptor but chance's are it wont work...

but that RCA input will and its 30$ so its up too u

Oh, what kind of cables would I need to get in order to plug my ipod into the input?
