This is for a Tahoe. I pretty much know how to fabricate the pillar. I want to add a 4-5.25" speaker and some tweeters in each. How do I mount it tightly because I don't think the factory clips are strong enough to hold it in place?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

bolts won't work on the A pillars the factory clips will be strong enough if you keep the weight down and the clips are not dammaged

also just mold in two or three places along the rear edge (towards door ) for mounting screws just keep them close so the weather stripping will cover them

^ this would work as well...i kno i used bolts on my door panels to hold my pods on.
as do I but on the A pillar there is no access to put nuts on the bolts //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

Good lawd man how tall are your pillars ? 4- 5 1/4"'s will be roughly 24" by themselves stacked on top of each other. Better fab in some bolts for those monsters.THey gonna be some heavy sob's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
