Aspirin, yes, ibuprofen, no. Ibuprofen hurts the liver more than the stomach. Same with acetaminophen.

Unless you manage to catch half the bottle in you mouth, it won't be a problem. Depending on your weight, you can take 800-1200mg as a normal dosage with no problem
