Also, Steve should be able to more or less custom build that sub for you. Triple or quad spider, stiff as a board - whatever you want.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the SHW has a 4" Coil and Steve uses an 8 or 10 layer spider, doesnt he? I know the spider on the woofer is ridiculous but I cant speak for the specifics here...

And just remember - once that coil gets hot impedence rise = through the roof.

you could always vent some ac ducts into ur port or through the box, might mess with tuning though or cause condensation on the heated parts of the woofer

John Peirce and his brothers are a bunch of redneck idiots with no idea what they are doing, they simply steal ideas and throw stuff together. If you ever question there products they will hang up on your or ignore you anyway possible. I wish I lived in Washington as I would love to meet the clowns in person. Your better off taking a copper penny, tin foil, and a paper plate to make a sub. At least then you will know its a shaddy build instead of waiting for everything to fall apart on you.

I'd say RD or T3 are your best bets without spending a huge amount of cash (DD Z).

Im dead serious, I have tried contacting them to ask for more specifics about there products, they have hung up on me, ignored my emails, and banned me off their site, for absolutely no reason... they make the mods here look justified lol.

Clamp meter and DMM for proof of 5000+ on music.
Like I already said, 6000-7000 on one sub is just silly. Nothing will last long on that, regardless of what the manufacturer says.
