Pierce audio custom built?

Clamp meter and DMM for proof of 5000+ on music.
Like I already said, 6000-7000 on one sub is just silly. Nothing will last long on that, regardless of what the manufacturer says.
understood,

but the guys i have to beat run dd95s on atomic 5000s at low voltages almost 12 at times, so thats like what 3800-4000rms?

And they're loud.

I need to be louder so i'm bringing the most powerful 15s i can get and giving them the most power they can take for the purpose i want,

I will be sure to run some tests when i do get subs and give some feedback.

what about this pierce audio sub against the tsns?

I wish i got get my TSNS at that nice price they quoted but it seems like that company is toooooo busy and i need my subs soon.

If you know what you're doing pretty sure one amp will be enough. DD's are loud but they will not take 5k daily each... You need 4" coil and a powerfull motor...

what? ive seen dd 9515s take atomic 5000ds already, why cant a much bigger sub take more power?
bigger does not = better. simple as that

TSNS is a much better sub. pap are a bunch of hacks. serious.

If you run the PAP you might as well shoot yourself, The only decent woofer they have they stole the design too...yeah.

TSNS is a pretty strong sub - but you said the RD Heavyweight/SuperHeavyweight wasn't near strong enough? 3" Heavyweight vs 4" Coild TSNS the TSNS was a tad louder, but the 3" coil kept up with it, for a fraction of the cost, sounds decent, and wasn't getting hot.

I'm going to tell you this RIGHT NOW though, if you're in fact running a transmission line enclosure, you do NOT NEED 7k rms per woofer. To boot, with that enclosure you're not going to find a subwoofer that will take 7k RMS per woofer.

Best of luck.

Consider the TSNS, RD Heavyweight/SuperHeavyweight, Atomic APXX, SoundStream XXX

First off on the Z, yes an no. Can it play music? Sure, anything can. Will it sound good and last? Dont count on it.

With almost any sub you're going to destroy the woofer for "daily"

I had the same problem as you, I swore by having biggest power and biggest woofers, you need to figure in the amount of downtime you're going to have for blown woofers and the amount of money you're going to spend for recones.

It'd be much better to drop down to four speakers at 3500w rms each.

my opponent has a pair of apxx running of 2 atomic 5000d at 18v.

so i dont want that.

I need to beat that.

My first go was the soundstream xxx, but i chose the TSNS over it and was set on the TSNS until about last week when i found out they were too busy to eat.

If they could chime in now and say yeah they'll take my order ill be so happy.

Whats wrong with the guys at PAP?

Isnt the sub they told me about very similar to the TSNS?

Its 2 15s competition im in, i cant do that.

Well considering you're up against two 5k Zenon amps at 18v, you better hope you'e got similar power, which it seems you do.

Are you looking for loud to the ear, or loudest on a mic? I suggest, as it seems you've done, throwing up a serious box.

Electrical I guess you've got up to par

Deadening is the last main thing other than equalization - hope you're looking forward to that as well.

If you want, you can contact Steve. He can have two SuperHeavyweights on the way to you shortly, I'm sure, and they'll take some hellacious power and still play music decently well.

The TSNS is an UnGodly expensive woofer, but it's not a bad woofer by any means.

And PAP STOLE THE DESIGN to their big woofer.
