Pictures!!

I just prefer more myself. I've had a few different 6 1/2. I have had dual 6 1/2" Alpine Type R's in each door which I really liked but needed a change. A single Kicker SSMB 6 in each door which is more like a 7. Um...Alpine Type X, and now I have the Dynaudio System 360 in it. I have 200 watts rms going to each side and 700 watts going to my Image Dynamics IDMAX 12. I'm looking at getting a 400x to put on my midbass and a 200x on my tweeters and one on the midrange. You can NEVER have too much power! Also my sub doesn't overpower anything in my truck. It may be 2 db louder than the midbass and the crossover point is at 50 hz. I like for everything to sound like it is coming from up ront
Well, I've always said to each his own. If it works for your truck then it works. Its just my opinion that anything over a 6.5" isn't necessary as I've seen many setups with that configuration but its still up to the owner and what he prefers.

Sounds like a nice setup in your truck. Wish I could hear it.

I wired the canton midrange up last night in my truck and it isn't as detailed as the Dynadio midrange. They are good no doubt, just not as good. I might just make a nice L & R setup for my home audio system with them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I'm going to be putting my midbass and midrange in the kick panel area soon. Or just as soon as I can figure out what vehicle I want to do. I'm soooooo ready to get started on it.

from all the distortion measurements ive seen...NO 6.5/7" could maintain the same low levels of distortion into the midbass region. The distortion goes through the roof beyond 100hz...

just so we're all on the same lines...(accepted octave definition by recording studios)

20-40hz = lowbass

40-80hz= midbass

80-160hz= highbass

160-320hz=lower midrange

320-640hz mid midrange

640-1.28khz upper midrange

1.28-2.56k lower treble

2.56-5.12k mid treble

5.12k-10.24k upper treble

10-20k top octave

Are you talking about a 6.5" that is being used as a dedicated midbass or a 6.5" that is being used for midrange and midbass in a 2 way setup.??

Also, I doubt the distortion that you would get from a 6.5" compared to a 8" woofer would even be audible.
