How does it sound/image with the tweeters aimed down in such a manner?

Very good, surprisingly. I did it on purpose because I didn't want the sound to be too harsh and in my face, and it worked out great. They definately don't sound as though they are pointed downward as the soundstage is still high up..

The amps, for now, are in the spare tire well, so in turn, I have no spare tire. When I find the time, I am going to do something with them, probably something simple like put a window in the trunk floor so you can see the amps. They are the JL Slash series in a chrome finish, kind of cool looking, no point in hiding them.

And speaking of the amps, I think I have some pictures of them before I installed them. If I can find them, I will update them in the link in my first post.
