picture of PS3 sold for $840 on ebay!

I'm saying it's messed up someones doing that type of stuff. Whoever bid on it should have read the auction but the seller knew what they were doing when they started it. I mean who auctions off a picture of a ps3? Anyone capable of bidding on it has the internet which makes them capable of getting the picture off the web for free.
Probably did it for a laugh, or intentionaly to get money from idiots. People who fall for it deserve to lose their money.

Thats as good as the guy that sold "Play Station 3 of them". Im sure there was a thread made on that auction here too..
Link?

The seller had no feedback, and a picture from the web. geez. whoever bid on that deserves to be ripped off.

That is my auction, the stupid ****er paid $600 PayPal already... I did not list it in the Game System section, said nothing about receiving the actual PS3; so I am in the clear //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

You Mother****er! I just bought that same item!

Nah just playin. The moron who bought it can still file a claim with paypal and/or his credit card company to get his money back. Small print doesn't mean shit now a days. Basically it just means you realized the chance for someone to be mislead was there- further increasing the chances of fraud.

Its like having to sign waivers to do an activity. It doesn't mean the place you are at gets off scotch free- in fact in court it just means they were aware of the risks- so much that they felt necessary to decrease their own liability. THen its simple to prove that they knew the risks and still did not take the necessary precations to prevent injury to you- and you win the case.

All that guy has to do is say to his credit card company "The guy was obviously trying to defraud me- he even had extremely fine print stating the auction was for something other then what I would believe it was for."
