Well, I've been on this forum for some time now and I finally got everything in to where it's presentable. What I got:

2 Realm Audio 12" D4, powered by a Sundown 1500

EclipseAVN 6600 HU

Batcap 800

STOCK 150 amp alt.

I would like to thank a few people that have helped me out with this:

Immacomputer for talking me back into going ported and designing my box, really great asset around here; box: 2.7 cu. ft. tuned @30hz.

Sundownz for selling me this GREAT amp back in OCTOBER!! (it's taken a while to get everything and all the time to become avialable)

scissors for these AWESOME subs!!!!! These are the BEST SQ subs I have EVER owned!!! Right up there with the best if not a better SPL/SQ hybrid.

Well, here are the pics and vids. I would love to hear (see) some feedback! All work & build done by me; nothing show stopping but fairly clean. I don't know about the sound on your computer, but I tried my best. On a TL, I think it would be somewhere in the 143-145 range. SQ is amazing and hits everything accurate, quick and will get low.

What type of material did you cover the enclosure with? The texture looks interesting but the color isn't really my thing!

I'm glad you're happy with the setup and the install looks pretty clean. Did you ever try the MMats subs in there? I am curious about how the two compare.

Yeah, I figured a box should be something "out of the norm" in color plus red looks good with silver. The material is tweed and is a ***** to work with! It doesn't cut easy and if your glue is not completely dry it will seep through because it's so thin.

I did try the MMATS subs and they did get loud and sound pretty decent, but NOTHING like these Realms. It seriously is like night and day especially at low to mid volume levels. These subs sound really natural to what you are listening to and the box doesn't breathe either so response is on point with no grouping at all in frequecy changes.

If you don't have them already, I highly suggest rubber feet on the amp having it mounted to the enclosure.

Otherwise, looks great //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Glad you like it!

those puppies are moving alot off that one sundown

These subs are 400 RMS and 800 Peak. According to my DMM settings, they're seeing about 12-1300 watts (35.5v).

I would like to maybe sell these and get some RLPs, then sell or trade those for some DCs or TCs.

I'm like a lot of people on here; I like to trade out my stuff regularly.

so by ear you thinking its doing a 143-145 thats incredible especially for 1500 watts @ 30hzs....

Try and get it metered and see what the number is //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

none the less nice install

You already know what subs you are gonna trade subs for that you haven't even traded for your current subs? LOL
Nice setup man.
Yeah lol! I keep reading about all these other brands that I would like to try out and see what I like best. The DC lvl 3s look and seem to be badazz. TCs have a really great rep and the RLPs have been suggested to me to run in this box and I want to see what they do.

Like I said, I like to change out regularly, but these Realms are really hard to let go of.
