Messy, but got the job done
Box was 6 cubes after disp, had to take the trunk lid/hinges off and kick the box in

With that body style Cavalier Ive found its easier to remove the rear seat and slide the box in the trunk. you can either 45 the top corners to avoid those angled parcel shelf braces, or you can aadd the top baffle after the box is inside the trunk. Either of these options give you more over all usable room in the trunk. Frankly, Im amazed you were able to force that long of a box in thru the trunk opening, it must be pretty short height-wise.

IIRC, that box was 33-34'' wide, 13 1/2'' high and like 28'' deep, there was NO way that thing was going in from the interior
