Here are a few pics of my current install.

2 layers of Raamat on the trunk floor and wheel wells.

4 layers of Raamat on the hatch.

2 layers of Raamat on the inside and outside skin of front doors.

For the speaker baffles I used 2 layers of 3/4 MDF compressed tight to foam.

Enjoy.

Looks good man. How much total raammat did you end up using?
I bought 2 rolls total to begin with and I have about 3/4 of a roll left. So I would say about 75 square feet all together. I plan on putting a layer on the rear doors in a few weeks.

how much raamat do you think would be needed to do the trunk of a compact car(focus--4 door)

thinking about doing it, during the spring...want to know how much it will cost

(keep in mind the spare tire well is in the trunk, so i'd have to take that out and raamat that area as well.)

how much difference does a product like raamat make in trunk rattle?

Looks like a 4runner, what is it?
Yes it is a 2000 4Runner.

My estimate would probably be no better than yours. But if I were you, I would buy 1 Roll of Raamat (62.5 sq ft). It is around $115. This would give you enough for the trunk and probably both front doors. Raamat is an alternative to the well known Dynamat brand. It is 95% alike and cost 1/2 the price.

you need to roll it out. looks like theres air bubbles.
There are a few air bubbles here and there. I used my fingers and dyna roller the best I could. Maybe I am slow or too meticulous, but it took me over 25 hours to get that all done.

Did you use the ensolite anywhere?
What's up with that stuff, worth it or no?

Great job BTW
No. I didn't use ensolite and never have. Maybe someone else could chime in for ya.
