Is the hifonics amp in your sig the new amp you are getting or the old one?

The old one, probably goin with the hifonics bx1800d, sold the 1000d to a friend for 150$.

That will be perfect. It probably won't do 1800rms but if you got 1500 out of it then you should be pleased. I am running 1400 to my 12 and it is very loud.

Were you running it at 500rms before? That is probably why you weren't getting the output you wanted. It will still sound ok, but with the extra 1000 watts going to it with the bx1800d you will notice some huge improvements.

I had it in parallel, for a 1ohm load, so i was probably seeing 750-800 watts to it, like you said, i should be able to at least see 1500-1600 outta that bx1800d..
