Okay...what you do...measure you the opening you want to cover (the place where your box is...to the fenders of the car there.) and build a board that exact size..cut out the speaker holes in the proper part of the cover board..carpet it, and attach it with screws (under carpet of course), or you could use double sided tape to attatch the cover board. Then do the same thing for the amp, but make its cover board extend to the sub box..if you have any more questions feel free to ask. or talk on messenger. (clay_rhye54@hotmail.com).

Definatly let me know how it sounds. Is it the new ones with the flat cone? Im very interested. I would assume it will run well off my 500/1? And as for the box i would be interested in that. You seem to have the know how to make a nice ported box for it.

It's not a flat cone, they stopped making the 15" K's, but this one is the last 15" K model they made...

Thanks for the info crhye250r that would be a project for this weekend but i will be out of town for buisness. I ahve one question though won't the 1/4in boad rattle?

no, it wont, you will be fine..the carpet will stop potential rattling.

Haven't they had problems with that one like the tinsle lead popping or something? I read it somewhere but i can't seem to find where. Do you have a price quote for me with teh sub and box shipped?

Awesome! I will def try to do that. I got a jig saw earlier this week and it seems like a perfect project to use it on.

I haven't heard of any tinsel slap problems...if I find one of them has that problem, you'll be sure to have one that doesn't have that problem, whether it be me fixing it or me giving you one that is fine...

As for price, with a box, probably around 160 shipped...

yeah i agree it is kinda weird. its that OBDI crap that is mod friendly OBDII is on all the 96-99's. OBDI responds more to Mods. but yeah my 318 is slow and its gona always be slow so im not touching the engine. Its also got 150k on it courtesy of my dads 10 years of driving it. im looking to get 17's though after school gets out(rims)

Jsut let me know when you are ready to send it out and i will buy that off ya. Will the 15 run well off the 500/1? Also the box needs to fit in the car it has small deminsions. Which i should prob give you. When are you expecting the sub?

LOL i guess you would expect quart also huh? maybe alpine? I mean come on i did my howmwork. I paid 200 for the box witht he subs in it and 350 for the amp. Didn't waste any money thanks.
