i just thought i would show a couple pics of my friends setup that we worked on together and my setup, that i completed about a month ago. i'm pretty satisfied with how it sounds, i'm trying to find a better way to mount all the electronic equipment though. i think i need my trunkspace back. well anyway here are the pics.

Can you mount the amps on the sides or flush mount them into the floor? That would be neater and give you your space back.

Otherwise, nice equipment.

i guess it's hard to tell, but i actually have a false floor in there. all the equipment is raised about 4 inches so i could run all the wires underneath. i really don't have the best tools lying around, and i can't think of a better way to mount everything while keeping it looking clean.

also, does has anyone had experience with going from sealed to ported on an IDMAX? is the difference in output significant?

i say false floor as well, but you could make panels to mount the gear to on the side walls of the trunk. with everything so spaced out it is hard to gain any room back, if you really wanted your room back you could install your crossovers and distro blocks somewhere hidin.
