how good are these XM radio antennas

Re-check your link...

As for the antennas...any antenna that you don't properly mount on a good ground plane, up as high as possible, is going to be a compromise in performance. Whether or not that's significant enough in your install to make a difference is something you'd have to find out.

Well, it is designed for use on your roof, but I've seen people mount them on little suction-cup mounts on the bottom of their windshield to put it within line of sight of the sky...

At the frequencies that XM uses, getting a good ground plane isn't too important, but it could help in fringe coverage of a satellite.

yeah, i think im just gonna stick it on my dash or rear dash

i could see some dumb fuk walk off with it too... cant be havin that

A reason I don't like mag mount antennas.

To get mine off my roof, at least they need a hex wrench //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
